06.10.-24.11.2024 at Holbeinhaus

The basic element of his paintings is the individual brushstroke, which is always clearly visible and never subordinates itself to the representational form, but always remains an autonomous, sculptural composition in its own right. At once organic and constructive, it functions in the picture both as a framework and as an element of movement. The results of the painting process are optical sensations of gestural power and expressive quality.
