You Won’t Find It By ThinkingFranziska Kastner

20.09.–24.11.2024 at Neue Galerie im Höhmannhaus

Franziska Kastner's works are experimental and cross-media. Using elements of photography, video, drawing, text and objects, she creates artistic installations with a multidimensional visual language. In addition to aesthetic stimuli, her work in combination with sound consists of intuition, tension, speed, simultaneity, alienation and continuity.

Franziska Kastner on the exhibition:

'We look at fragments. Being alive is a special occasion, with my chapped lips trancil as an exit aid.
Breathing in an electronic reading. Sometimes I feel like I'm made of glass. Broken opened memorials, transparent, hard and quite fragile. It seems my very existence is rebellion enough. I am interested in sentimental value, because no feeling is final.
A tribute to friendship, sensitive moments, tireless humor for honest connection. Fragments of interaction are communicable, vulnerable and shine raw. You can not copy the original emotion. The wound itself is vulnerable and captures all key elements of the halo. Released for contemplation - The contemplation of how I feel can only be in the present moment. Its relaxation in growth - to not forget that the heart is the place where all the action is
.'
