Andrea SandnerNo Sense But Colour

20.12.2023–01.04.2024 at Neue Galerie im Höhmannhaus

Andrea Sandner realizes a temporary painted work in the Neue Galerie im Höhmannhaus. As a work in and with space, she creates a monumental, temporary painting that fundamentally reflects and at the same time expands her own previous work. Her subject is colour, her painting surface is the wall. "I don't just paint stripes, I think in colours. I alternate colour rubs, breaks and harmonies, which together create a coherent ensemble for me. Here in the room, I only mix colour with colour. I am even freer in this dimension, which goes beyond the scope of any painting".
