Finissage / ARTIST TALK with Frank Mardaus on Sunday, April 7th, 11 a.m.

Frank Mardaus' actual material in his long-term project "Kalenderwoche" is time, depicted through photography, text and sound. He collected everything in the years 2001 to 2012, accurately arranged according to calendar weeks. This is a principle of order, but also a kind of performative marker for numerous images: A sheet of paper with a number that brings people and things back from a present that has already passed. 181 objects poetically show "collected", assigned time.

For his project the photographer received in 2021 a grant from the program "Neustart Kultur" of the Federal Republic of Germany.

The opening of the exhibition will take place on Thursday, January 25, at 7 pm! Cordial invitation!
